This Privacy Policy describes how Gum & Booger ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Gum & Booger website at www.gumbooger.com (the "Site") and our internal publishing tools (collectively, the "Services").
The short version: Gum & Booger is a small creative project. Our website is a static informational site — we don't run accounts, logins, forms, ads, analytics tracking, or third-party advertising cookies. Our internal publishing tools are used only by us to post our own content to social media accounts we own. We don't collect, sell, or share personal information about visitors.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the Site. The Site does not include contact forms, comment sections, newsletter signups, or e-commerce. We do not use third-party advertising networks or behavioral advertising cookies.
2. Information Automatically Collected by Our Hosting Provider
Our website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider (currently Netlify, Inc.). Like most web hosts, our provider automatically logs standard technical information when your browser requests a page, such as:
- IP address;
- Browser type and version;
- Operating system;
- Referring page and requested URL;
- Date and time of the request.
This information is used by the hosting provider for security, abuse prevention, and basic infrastructure operations. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors or build personal profiles, and we do not sell it.

3. Our Internal Publishing Tools
We use internal tools to publish original Gum & Booger content (videos, images, captions) to social media accounts we own, including but not limited to Instagram (@gumbooger) and TikTok (@gumbooger).
These tools:
- Are used exclusively by us, the account owner;
- Only access the social media accounts we own and have authorized;
- Only publish content we have created ourselves;
- Do not solicit, collect, host, or publish content from any third party or member of the public;
- Do not read, store, or share information about other users of the social media platforms.
When we authorize these tools to post to a social media account, the tools receive an access token from that platform that permits publishing. Access tokens are stored securely and used only to publish our own content. If we revoke access on the platform, the tools can no longer publish on our behalf.
4. Cookies and Tracking
The Site does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking pixels. The only cookies that may be set are strictly necessary cookies used by our hosting provider for basic security and infrastructure.
5. Children's Privacy
Gum & Booger is a comedy project intended for general audiences. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
6. Data Retention
Because we do not collect personal information from Site visitors, we have no personal data to retain about you. Server logs held by our hosting provider are retained according to that provider's standard retention policies.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or delete personal information about you. Because we do not collect personal information about Site visitors, we generally have no such information on file. We take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect the limited information we handle. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site links to third-party websites and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their privacy policies before providing them with any information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Changes take effect when posted.
